Through advanced mathematics, Scott Kirila infuses the science element of “blending art and science” necessary for meaningful analytics capabilities in retail and consumer brand companies.
Joining The Parker Avery Group in early 2021, Scott brings additional deep math expertise to the firm’s Tailored Intelligence analytics practice. He has published mathematical research in journals such as Mathematika and the Journal of Number Theory, employing his experience with Analysis and Probability Theory to study statistical properties of L-functions. He holds a PhD and MS in Mathematics from the University of Rochester and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining Parker Avery, Scott worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Exeter in southwest England, and he currently lives in Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, exercising, studying languages, and applying machine learning to everyday problems.
