Pralhad Shinde

With a mathematical mindset, Pralhad thrives on deciphering hidden patterns and addressing retail and consumer goods challenges. His passion for engaging conversations revolves around data and its strategic application for solving business problems.

Pralhad holds a Ph.D. in public-key cryptography and computational group theory from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune. Before joining Parker Avery’s analytics team in February 2024, Pralhad dedicated seven years to academia, serving as an assistant professor in the department of mathematics at COEP Technological University, also in Pune. With a foundation in mathematics and a research focus on algorithmic principles, Pralhad combines his skills with data science tools to tackle the most critical retail and consumer goods challenges.

Beyond the world of retail data analytics, Pralhad finds joy in long cycling rides and embraces a passion for farming. During visits to his village, he delights in activities such as catching river crabs and harvesting honeycombs, underscoring his connection to the simplicity and beauty of rural life.
