Expertly maneuvering a vessel through sometimes unclear waters transcends to Russ’s ability to confidently lead retailers through complex planning projects focused on business process design, change management, and implementation.
With over 35 years of retail experience from the store manager level through executive level planning and merchandising management positions, Russ has led multiple business process design projects and implementations, designed merchandise planning processes and planning organizational structures, as well as developed and led training design, delivery, and change management initiatives. Russ is highly experienced in all phases of merchandise financial planning and reporting, including strategic planning, top down, middle out, and bottom up planning. Russ attended the University of Georgia and spends as many fall Saturdays as he can attending Bulldog football games. He and his wife live on a lake in South Carolina where he enjoys boating, cooking, and competing for the title of neighborhood grill master.
