Rob Oglesby

As a consultant, and as a cycling enthusiast, Rob is very conscious about changes in the environment — anticipating and overcoming obstacles to stay on course is a key tenet he brings to his client projects.

Rob Oglesby has 30 years of experience within the retail industry and as a consultant. He held director-level positions with major big box retailers in the areas of store operations, field management, and process innovation. Rob focuses on assisting retailers enhance performance through operational improvement and business process transformation enabled by technology. Rob has authored several publications on inventory management and store operations and has been quoted in several retail news outlets and industry blogs. He has also presented at several retail conferences. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Information & Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and he has served as Assistant Director for the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Region 630 and as a board member of the Orange Coast Radio Control Club. After growing up on the east coast, Rob and his family now live in Orange County California—which he asserts is worth the premium—where he enjoys mountain and road cycling, building and flying radio control airplanes, and homebrewing craft beer—when he can find the time.
