Having fished all over the US and other parts of the world, Dan relishes the combination of art and science required to catch the prize. He enjoys supporting success in all retail and CPG categories in their collective journeys to ‘hook’ the consumer.
Dan Wittner has worked for 30 years as a retail and software executive and, most recently, as a consultant to the retail industry. As part of Parker Avery’s leadership team, Dan drives business development, partnerships, and strategic direction. He also works with the firm’s clients to deliver his perspectives and insights based on his diverse experience. Dan began his career in the sporting goods world, moved to fashion footwear and apparel, and then retail software to help his industry colleagues overcome innovation challenges. Dan is a recognized retail innovator and leader, having been an advisor to groups such as Demandware, Next Point, and the Future Commerce Initiative at Harvard. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird and a BA from the University of New Hampshire, where he is also an adjunct professor at the business school. Dan is a native of New Hampshire but mutinied to Newburyport, Massachusetts, where he lives and fishes with his wife and two sons.
