Mike Johnson

Senior Manager

A lifelong sports fan, the constant challenges of a new season have shaped how Mike seeks and embraces diverse solutions in retail merchandising.

A passion for sports led to Mike’s early introduction to retail, from ski tech to store manager, evolving into a diverse corporate retail experience spanning decades. His retail career progressed as he moved from sporting goods to big box apparel to off-price specialty retailers. Mike has managed planning and allocation teams, led business process improvement initiatives and business-driven technology projects spanning price optimization, replenishment, and merchandise financial planning. Mike also has an extensive background in operational and analytical report assessment, development, and deployment. The broad scope of these projects and roles has allowed him to develop strong cross-functional relationships that coordinate efforts and align merchandising, finance, store operations, and IT for improved communication, efficiency, and project success. A graduate of Metropolitan State University in Denver, Mike remains a die-hard Broncos, Avalanche, and Rockies fan, and he enjoys golf and spending free time with his wife and two Westies.
